Southwest Airlines announces new Austin-Atlanta nonstop service
AUSTIN, TEXAS -- Southwest Airlines has announced new, twice daily, nonstop service between Austin and Atlanta, Ga., starting Feb. 12, 2012.
The new flights will depart Austin-Bergstrom International Airport daily at 6:45 a.m. and 12:40 p.m. arriving in Atlanta at 9:55 a.m. and 3:50 p.m. The return flights will depart Atlanta at 10:25 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. arriving in Austin at 12:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., all times local. The new flights are available for purchase at www.Southwest.com or by calling 1-800-I-FLY-SWA.
Austin-Bergstrom has nonstop service to 37 destinations in the U.S. and Mexico and served 8.7 million passengers in 2010.
