Passenger Security Screening Checkpoints
Prohibited Items: Items currently prohibited include: liquids, knives, scissors with metal pointed tips, mace and pepper sprays, firearms, bats, kubatons and more. Exempted items may include properly identified medications and baby formula. For a comprehensive listing of the latest prohibitions and exemptions, visit the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Web site www.tsa.gov.
Medical Conditions & Disabilities: Have questions about passenger screening and medical conditions or disabilities? Call visit TSA Cares. (1-855-787-2227) prior to traveling to ask questions about screening policies, procedures and about what to expect at security checkpoints.
The TSA recommends fliers call 72 hours prior to travel so that the agency "has the opportunity to coordinate checkpoint support with a TSA Customer Service Manager located at the airport when necessary."
The TSA Cares line is staffed Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. ET until 9 p.m. ET, excluding federal holidays.

The Transportation Security Administration is responsible for reviewing all claims relating to the screening of passengers and their baggage. In order to protect your rights, passengers must file a written claim with TSA.
