Web Redesign Project
The City of Austin is overhauling its Web site to help achieve a new era in open government, and the public can be a partner in this important effort. Public input in the redesign of the Web site will ensure one of the best municipal Web sites in the nation. By working together, we can create a new standard for open government and a Web site that benefits everyone.
The City welcomes your input in the process and values any suggestions you might have.
Launched in early 1995 as one of the few municipal government sites in the nation, Austin City Connection has grown from an initial 300 pages to more than 40,000. The site provides the public an Internet portal to all City departments, services and government functions.
